Rossi GLUTEN FREE Pastas:

Located in Marietta, Ohio, Rossi has been handmaking  pasta since 1981.  They use only fresh, all natural ingredients - NEVER any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.  Anchoring their business with traditional, ultra premium gourrnet flavored wheat pastas, they now offer a wonderfully colorful line of Gluten Free Pastas and Pizza Doughs that are  produced in a 100% dedicated gluten-free facility. Their process mimics the old fashioned hand crank machine:  each small batch is mixed, kneaded and rolled into long sheets, then cut into their signature shapes and widths.  It's a labor intensive process - but one which allows them to use a softer flour blend and much fresher ingredients, making for a faster-cooking, better tasting pasta.Their mouth watering gluten free flavors include Garlic, Italian Spice, Shitake Mushroom, Vino Rossi, Spinach Basil, Tomato Basil and Classic Trio.  After 31 years, Rossi still hangs, harvests and packages every batch of pasta by hand!  It's the only way to guarantee their famous authentic homemade taste!

About Our Oil & Vinegar Supplier, Veronica Foods...

We are extremely proud to report that our prestigious supplier, Veronica Foods, is the oldest, continuously operating importer of olive oils and balsamic vinegars in North America. CEO Veronica Bradley communicates the company goal as "making the finest, freshest, most broad selection of Extra Virgin Olive Oils in the world accessible to the serious consumer at prices that are both reasonable and affordable".

Their company was founded in New York City in 1924 by Italian immigrant Salvatore Esposito.  The Delizia Olive Oil brand was transferred from Naples, Italy and registered in the United States in the same year.  The Esposito family moved west to Oakland, CA in the late 1930's with the hope of building the first olive oil mill in the U.S.  Those plans were put on hold when 3 of the 4 sons joined the military at the beginning of WWII.  The business was eventually transferred to the 4th and eldest son, Anthony, who ran it until his retirement in 1989.  At that point the olive oil portion, kept as a honored family tradition, only accounted for 6 tenths of 1 percent of the company's business.  That's when founder Salvatore Esposito's granddaughter Veronica, and her husband Michael Bradley, stepped in to take the reigns.  They realized they either needed to abandon the olive oil portion, or become committed in a much more serious way.  Thankfully they chose the latter, and soon became obsessed with olive oil. The fruits of their intensive labors of learning as much as possible about what makes quality oils and vinegars can be enjoyed by us all today.  They have developed their own set of quality standards far above the rest of the world's (which they term "UP" for "Ultra Premium").  These higher standards, as well as diligent efforts to ensure they are followed, result in products that are far superior to any others available in North America. It is a treat to try their amazingly fresh oils and artisanally crafted balsamic vinegars and truly enjoy the quality!

Our Pasta Suppliers...

Pasta Mama's:

Grown and produced in the Pacific Northwest, all Pasta Mama's Gourmet  Pastas are Handmade and Fresh Dried from all natural ingredients, containing no eggs and no oil, and assuring you of nutritious dining.  A variety of unique flavor options are available in Linguine, Fettuccini and Pappardelle width noodles, any of which could quite simply be companioned with any of our premium oils, or perhaps with a Pasta Mama's quick and easy, preservative free sauce or pesto mix.

The Pasta Mama's label began in 1987 when Diane made pasta in her own kitchen, bagged it with her husband Paul, and took it to her current place of employment.  This special homemade pasta sold as fast as Diane could make it, and since the customers called her Pasta Mama, the ensuing business name choice became obvious.  By that fall they had entered the gift industry.  Paul attended gift shows all over the country and sales grew substantially.  In 1989, Pasta Mama's was selected as 'Small Business of the Year' for Eastern Washington. They won the same title in 1991 for the entire state of Washington, and joined winners from other states in a ceremony at the White House Rose Garden with President Bush, Sr.  In the next few years they outgrew 3 facilities as they continued to grow, even exporting to Europe and other countries.

Devastatingly, in 1994, on Paul's 50th birthday, he suffered a broken neck in a hot-air balloon accident.  In 1997 the bank removed Paul and Diane from the company and gave it to another company that ran it into bankruptcy and eventually auctioned it off.  As the years went by and Paul recovered from his accident, people continued to ask where Pasta Mama's could be purchased, and/or why they hadn't attempted to resume business?......until 2013......when they returned with Pasta Mama's Gift & Gourmet, and Pastas and Sauces!  We invite you to taste their fresh and unique difference!
